How to increase energy
22.04.2025
If you want to increase energy (the natural way, without coffee and sugar bombs), with some proven tricks, habits and foods that really work.
⚡ Simple ways to have more energy during the day
☀️ Start your day with movement
• A short morning routine (5-10 minutes): stretching, walking, a couple of squats – you wake up your body and get the blood flowing.
• You don’t need to train, just move.
➡️ Movement = more oxygen to the brain = more focus.
🥑 Eat balanced meals (don’t skip breakfast!)
• Breakfast should have: complex carbohydrates + protein + healthy fats
○ Example: oatmeal + peanut butter + banana
• Skipping meals = sugar crashes = fatigue
💧 Drink plenty of water
• Dehydration = brain works slower = feeling exhausted
• Aim for 1.5–2 L per day, more if you are active.
💡 Tip: Start the morning with a glass of water (you can with lemon).
😴 Get quality sleep
• 7–9 hours of sleep every night, preferably at the same time.
• Evenings without screens, heavy foods or caffeine = more deep sleep.
🍫 Choose the right “energy snacks”
• Instead of sweets: nuts, dried fruits, banana, dark chocolate (min. 70%), Greek yogurt.
• Banana + peanut butter = natural energy bomb 💥
🧠 Work in cycles (pomodoro technique)
• 25 minutes of work + 5 minutes of break = better concentration, less exhaustion
• Get up every hour, stretch, breathe deeply
🌿 Add B vitamins and magnesium
• Foods rich in vitamin B (B1, B6, B12) and magnesium help convert food into energy:
