How to maintain healthy hair

If you want to have beautiful, healthy and well-groomed hair, follow the guidelines on how to maintain healthy hair.
Maintaining healthy hair requires a combination of good care, a healthy diet and avoiding harmful influences. Take time for yourself, pamper yourself and enjoy taking care of your appearance (aesthetics).
Proper hair care
Washing: Wash your hair with a mild shampoo that suits your hair type (dry, oily, damaged, etc.). Don’t wash it too often – 2-3 times a week is usually enough.
Conditioner: Use conditioner after each wash to moisturize your hair and reduce breakage.
Deep conditioning: Apply a hair mask or oil treatment (e.g. coconut, argan or almond oil) once a week.
Regular haircuts
Regular haircuts: Remove split ends approximately every 6-8 weeks.
Avoiding Damage
Heat Protection: Apply a heat protectant before using a curling iron, flat iron, or blow dryer.
Don’t Overdo It: Limit the use of hot tools and, if possible, let your hair air dry.
Gentle Combing: Use a wide-tooth comb and comb your hair when it’s slightly damp (not completely wet).
Hair Elastics: Avoid rubber bands that can pull your hair. Use soft or silky elastics instead.
Nutrition and Hydration
Getting Your Vitamins: Healthy hair needs vitamins and minerals such as: Vitamin A, B-complex, C, D, E, Zinc, Iron, and Biotin
Healthy Hair Foods: Nuts, seeds, oily fish (salmon, sardines), eggs, avocado, sweet potatoes, dark leafy greens
Drink plenty of water: Hydrated hair is more elastic and less likely to break.
Protection from external influences
UV protection: If you are in the sun a lot, wear a hat or use a hair spray with UV protection.
Chlorine and sea water: Rinse your hair immediately with plain water after swimming in the pool or sea.
Avoiding aggressive chemicals
Coloring and perming: If you color your hair, choose natural or less aggressive colors.
Sulfates and parabens: Avoid products that contain these chemicals, as they can dry out your hair.
Natural hair care masks:
Coconut oil and honey: For hydration and shine.
Yogurt and egg: Strengthens hair and makes it soft.
Aloe vera gel: Soothes the scalp and restores hair.
