Nails say a lot about your style – their shape can complement the look of your hands, while good care keeps them looking neat and healthy.

💅 NAIL SHAPES

Natural / Oval

• Softly rounded edges.

• Suitable for everyday wear, looks very natural.

• Great for shorter nails.

Almond

• Tapered towards the tip, reminiscent of an almond shape.

• Elegant and elongates the fingers.

• Fits longer nails well.

Square

• Flat top with sharp corners.

• Gives a modern and neat look.

• Suitable for stronger nails.

Squoval

• Square shape with slightly rounded corners.

• Comfortable, but still modern.

• Popular with natural manicures.

Stiletto

• Very long and pointed shape.

• Dramatic and bold.

• More common in gel technique – natural nails have a hard time keeping this shape.

Ballerina / Coffin

• Similar to stiletto, but with a flat tip (like the shape of a ballerina’s shoe).

• Trendy and very IN on Instagram.

🧴 NAIL CARE

Basic routine:

• Moisturizing: Regularly use cuticle oil and hand cream.

• Don’t bite your nails or pull off the polish – this damages the nail cuticle.

• Use a file, not scissors – filing is gentler on the nail.

• Always use a base coat before colored polish – it protects the nail and prevents staining.

• Top coat extends the durability and adds shine.

• Don’t overdo it with remover (especially those with acetone) – it dries out the nails.

💡 Additional tips:

• Let your nails “rest” without polish at least once a week.

• Watch your diet – protein, biotin, zinc and B vitamins are key for strong nails.

• Wash and condition your cuticles regularly – don’t cut them too deeply.
