Dandelion salad is a popular dish, especially popular in the spring when dandelions (Taraxacum officinale) are in full bloom. Dandelion has many health benefits, as it is rich in nutrients and antioxidants.
🥗 Dandelion Salad (Traditional)
🛒 Ingredients
• 1 large bowl of fresh dandelions
• 2–3 potatoes
• 2 eggs
• 2 cloves of garlic
• pumpkin seed oil
• vinegar (apple cider or wine)
• salt
👩🍳 Preparation
Dandelion: Wash well (several times to remove sand). Dry slightly
Boil potatoes in their skins. Peel and cut into slices (while still warm!)
Eggs Hard boil. Cut into pieces.
Salt, vinegar, plenty of pumpkin seed oil.
👉 mix well – warm potatoes “pull out” the flavors 💥
😋 Tips for TOP taste
• potatoes should still be warm (this is the secret!)
• don’t skimp on pumpkin oil
• you can add:
○ cracklings (for a more “country” version)
○ beans (for a more filling salad)
