Summertime brings warmth, greater physical activity and the need for light, refreshing food. With the right menu and tips, it will be easier to maintain energy, hydration and well-being during the summer months.

 

Good food that is ideal for the summer months:

 

Fruits and vegetables

– Watermelon: Refreshing and hydrating, with a high water content.

– Berries: Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries are rich in antioxidants.

– Cucumbers: Light, refreshing and hydrating.

– Tomatoes: Full of lycopene and delicious in salads or on their own.

– Avocado: Rich in healthy fats, great in salads or as a spread.

– Paprika: Sweet or hot, great in salads, grilled or as a snack.

 

Salads

– Green salads: The combination of arugula, spinach, radicchio and lettuce is light and nutritious.

– Quinoa Salad: Quinoa mixed with vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado and feta cheese.
