Grilled Chicken Fillet with Boiled Vegetables

🍗 Grilled Chicken Fillet + 🥦 Boiled Vegetables

Ingredients (for 2 people):

For the chicken:

• 2 chicken fillets

• 2 tablespoons olive oil

• 2 cloves garlic (chopped)

• juice of ½ lemon

• salt, pepper

• 1 teaspoon paprika (sweet or smoked)

• optional: thyme or rosemary

 

For the vegetables:

• 1 broccoli

• 2 carrots

• 1 zucchini

• salt

• a little butter or olive oil

👨‍🍳 Preparation:

Marinating the chicken

• Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper and spices.

• Coat the chicken fillets with the marinade.

• Let stand for at least 20–30 minutes (ideally 1 hour).

 

Preparing the vegetables

• Divide the broccoli into florets.

• Cut the carrots into rings or strips.

• Cut the zucchini into slices.

 

Cooking the vegetables

• Cook in salted water:

carrots ~5 minutes

add broccoli and zucchini ~5 minutes more

• Drain and add a little butter or olive oil if desired.

 

Roasting the chicken

• Heat a grill pan or grill.

• Roast the fillets for 5–7 minutes on each side (depending on thickness).

• The chicken should be nicely browned and juicy.

🍽️ Serving:

• Serve the chicken with the vegetables.

• Drizzle with a little lemon juice or add yogurt sauce if desired.

💡 Tip:

If you want more flavor, you can quickly fry the vegetables in a pan with a little garlic after cooking.
