🍲 Goulash with green beans and turkey meat
🛒 Ingredients (for 3–4 people):
• 500 g turkey meat (diced)
• 400–500 g green beans (fresh or frozen)
• 1 large onion
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil
• 1 tablespoon of ground paprika
• 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
• 1 bay leaf
• salt, pepper
• 500 ml of water or broth
👉 optional:
• a little chili
• 1 potato (for thickness)
👨🍳 Preparation:
Base
• Fry the chopped onion in oil (5–7 minutes, until translucent).
• Add the garlic and fry for another minute.
Meat
• Add the turkey meat.
• Fry for 5–7 minutes, until lightly browned.
Spices
• Add paprika and tomato paste.
• Stir quickly (be careful not to burn the paprika).
Cooking
• Pour in water or stock.
• Add bay leaf.
• Cook for 20 minutes over medium heat.
Green beans
• Add beans (and potatoes, if using).
• Cook for another 15–20 minutes until everything is tender.
🍽️ Serving:
• Serve hot.
• Optionally add:
○ fresh parsley
○ a piece of wholemeal bread
💡 Tip:
• The goulash is even better the next day 👍
• If you want a thicker goulash, mash it a little or add less liquid
