An apple

We all know the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” An apple is a fruit that grows on an apple tree. The roots of the apple come from Asia and there are more than 7,500 apple cultivars. An apple grows from a five-leafed flower.

Some research suggests that apples prevent colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer. The apple peel contains ursolic acid, which in experiments on rats had an effect on the increase of muscle mass and brown fat, as well as on the reduction of white fat, weight loss, glucose intolerance and fatty liver.
