Currants with cream in a jar (no baking)

Currants are great for desserts – they are slightly tart, refreshing and full of vitamin C.

 

Ingredients:

• 250 g mascarpone or Greek yogurt

• 2 tablespoons of honey or sugar

• Vanilla

• 200 g fresh currants

• Crushed biscuits for the base

 

Preparation:

Mix mascarpone, honey and vanilla. First put a layer of biscuits in the jars, then cream, then currants. Repeat the layers and serve chilled.
