Spinach and cottage cheese pie
Ingredients
For the filling
• 500 g fresh spinach
• 250 g cottage cheese (semi-fat or low-fat)
• 3 eggs
• 50 g sour cream
• Salt to taste
To prepare
• 1 package (500 g) of pulled dough (about 12-14 sheets)
• 50-100 g melted butter (for brushing the sheets)
• 1 egg yolk for brushing (for a shiny crust)
Preparation
In a large bowl, mix the spinach, cottage cheese, egg, sour cream, salt, pepper. Mix all the ingredients well.
Take 3 to 4 sheets of pulled dough and place them one on top of the other in a baking dish. Brush each sheet well with melted butter.
Spread the filling over the pulled dough and take 3 to 4 more pulled dough sheets and place them one on top of the filling in the baking dish. Brush each sheet well with melted butter.
Cut the pastry into desired pieces, brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame and black cumin.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until the pastry is golden brown.
The pastry is delicious warm, but you can serve it as a separate dish with yogurt sauce or as a side dish.
